Ok well I found out who plays Bella and now I am so mad. As much as I didn't like Emily Browning, she would have made a way better Bella in my opinion. Do you agree? In my opinion Kristen Stewart is a horrible Bella.

I feel so, so deceived! This is the first and the biggest example of a long line of mistakes that the producers are going to make. I feel like Stephenie Meyer trapped us in her magical and amazing books and now that there is a movie coming out with a bad Bella and it is going to make me(others too) sad. And when people see the movie who haven't read the books and if they think it's bad they wont read her amazing books and they wont get to see and read the amazement! Basically this movie will(possibly/might/most likely) will give Stephenie's books a bad name!

That is exactly what I think of Kristen. Not feminine, she looks so masculine. She is almost everything the Bella is not!

yes, the books are being created into a movie(s)

All of the people that are being hypocrites. You can not say "Well Bella is fictional and BLAH BLAH BLAH, and seriously get over it!" When you then say "I will be so mad is there isn't a good Edward" They are both fictional! So how about you get over it?

I agree with Stephenie Meyer, no one is going to be a perfect match.

What I think of Kristen Stewart as Bella Swan:

I think she COULD make a good Bella but that doesn't mean that she necessarily WILL make a good Bella. I think a lot of it will have to do with who else is casted.... I do know that if Kristen ruins it she is going to have a lot of Twilight fans to deal with lol! She isn't exactly how I picture Bella in my head....her lips and cheek bones are all wrong and I picture Bella with longer hair... but she has the pale skin, body structure, and the eyes for the part..... lets just hope she has the acting too. She also has the Bella quality of "I'm not the most gorgeous girl in all of Forks but I'm definitely cute and I don't know it" vibe (girl next door essence).

As Stephenie says on her site"For every actress that has been suggested as Bella in the past few years, there are always a slew of critics that cry, "But she doesn't look like Bella!" ... To this I would like to say: "Of course she doesn't!" Bella is a fictional character, and she looks different to everyone.... no one is going to match up with your mental picture exactly—or mine. The thing to hope for is a really great actor who can make us believe she is Bella (or Alice or so forth) for roughly two hours."

I think that Kristen Stewart has the potential of transforming from Kristen to Bella as the production of the movie begins. I personally like her more than Emily Browning.

She may look to masculine for Bella naturally but it is amazing what the right clothes, makeup, and hairstyle can do in regards to appearance. Although I don't think that Kristen has Bella's lips.... Kristen's aren't full enough... but I am going to wait until the movie is actually out before I start criticizing hard core.

I am nervous for who Edward will be played by.... I don't know of any actor that will satisfy my expectations.

Get over it?
GET OVER IT!?!??!

Well, I'll tell you this.
SHUT UP!

You obviously have no taste in casting and therefore you shouldn't consider being a producer. You'll ruin everything.

Here are my opinions.

1st of all, she is not pretty. You gotta admit that she isn't meeting anyone's standards to play the role of Isabella Marie Swan. I can't just "GET OVER IT" because the movie is supposed to be based on a PERFECT BOOK and therefore the movie should ALSO be perfect. Kristen is soooo ruining this.

2nd of all, she can't act. Emily Browning can't act that well either but she's WAY better than this Kristen girl. Have you SEEN her in Zathura?!?!? She looked like a freaking drug addict! Do you want Bella to look like a person who's in on METH?!?! (Sorry, I'm harsh. But hey. Someone's gotta tell those producers what they're doing wrong. They're ruining the good name of Bella! Seriously. That's a sin.)

And lastly, she's not charming AT ALL. She only gets SOME shots nice. As in, like, the photographer has difficulty finding the right lighting for her. See? Even the CAMERA doesn't like her.

Stephenie, WHAT ARE YOU DOING SITTING IDLY BY?!?!? Choose another girl! DO something!

Well, no one will be the perfect Bella because everybody has their own "version" of Bella. As much as Kristen Stewart doesn't look like the Bella i pictured. ( I thought Emily Browning fit the role perfectly, pale, brunette, pretty, normal) i will trust their judgment in hopes that twilight will be an amazing movie. i really hope they choose the right Edward...

i was so disappointed when i found out that Emily Browning wasn't going to portray Bella. Stewart, really, doesn't look anything like Bella . . . skin not pale enough, no heart-shaped face. and Meyer said on her website that Emily Browning was her first choice for Bella, so i don't know why she chose Stewart instead. Browning was exactly the Bella i pictured when i read the book . . . ohhh, i really hope she changes her mind!

at first she doesn't look like how i imagined Bella at all! but she's been in a whole variety of movies and that should be an advantage to her and the movie! i would have perfered Danielle Panabaker or Emily Browning but Kristen Stewart has had alot of experience in this field.....that's all i have to say but i still can't wait for the movie no matter what!!

Hey I like Kristen Stewart she's cool and all but she's more of a tough chick and I mean Emily Browning could pull off that innocent look and all but Kristen I mean imagine her needing Edward to save her, no she looks like she can handle it herself. I mean if she were to play in a movie I would recommend Maximum Ride now that she can pull off. But then again this is just my opinion.

She doesn't look anything like I pictured Bella for starters....but the worst part is that she doesn't embody anything about Bella in the books. She looks masculine & not delicate whatso ever. She just looks way different from what I expected. I agree that Emily would have been a much wiser choice.

Definately.... she looks like she'll be all off key when she is supposed to be romantic with Edward... it's just...WRONG! They needed someone more like the Bella in the Book as it is supposed to be based on the book, isn't it?!? Grrrr... =)

Yes she's not pale and fragile enough, Bella should have light brown hair pale skin and be a small person. UGH! My only comfort will be if they choose Rachel Leigh Cook as Alice. Alice is my favorite character and Rachel Leigh Cook doesn't LOOK like my mental picture of her, she IS my mental picture of her, and I don't mean because I saw her before I read the books, I mean I read the books picturing her like that and then later saw a picture of Rachel Leigh Cook! Also Trent Ford = Jasper :]
