I'm doing an art project and we have to draw a historical event and add a dairy twist in it. I'm confused as to which I should portray.
You have no idea how much your answer will help me! So please, thank you!

December 24 1914. German soldier arranged a cease fire on this date during WW1. Brits and Germans walked toward each other saying "Don't Shoot". They shook hands and sang Christmas Carols through the night.

The men exchanged gifts, sang carols, and played soccer. Some officers attempted to stop this and other officers "Never got the order" to prevent this .

The war would continue until 1918 and things would get worse. Yet this was a unique moment in history.

I'm assuming you meant "diary" rather than "dairy" - otherwise your field will be extremely limited.
I'd go with VE Day or VJ Day, as suggested.
True fact: My Dad was in Trafalgar Square on VE Day and in Times Square on VJ Day, getting ready to be shipped out to the Pacific.

I think the American Revolution would be interesting, Washington's winter at Valley Forge or the signing of the Declaration of Independence.
