The past 3 days I have had a sore pain in my back, just sort of half way down on the right hand side, I start of the day fine but as the day goes on I get this pain, It usually kicks in around lunch time. The odd thing is I can't remember doing anything to pull a mussle, I am on my feet all day so unless that effects it but its really sore

you could have pulled a muscle or trapped a nerve. this can happen easily if you are not fit or toned so coughing or sneezing could trigger it. you may be stood in a draft on one side. get some heat rub on it and get to either your gp or an osteopath if it's still there next week. if you smoke..give up as this will give you back pain

It sounds like you have pulled a muscle. You must have been doing something, like sitting twisted or didn't dry yourself properly after a bath and the cold got in (I get that).

You should still move about, put some cream on it or radium B. It will get better.

Sounds like you have pulled a muscle. I had the same a few week back, sore back but id some how done it in my sleep! woke up in the morning in agony! Try and rest it for a few days and it should ease up.

Could be a muscle spasm if you cant remember pulling anything - I got one under my shoulder blade once and it turned into excruciating pain. Get some Deep Heat to put on it and try not to poke it too much. If it gets worse go and see your GP to give you some anti inflamatory (sp?)

They have Heat pads--the ones in the red box (they don't stink like menthol) that have sticky on them so you stick them on your back and it keeps heat on your back for about 8 hours. They have magnets or something like that in them. They are expensive ($3/4 ea), but the relief is tremendous. Been there, done that.
