he will be as happy as he was with the other three that he dident earn, and cheated to win the guy and his team and owner are classless the stench of cheating will hang over this franchise forever as well it should, i just hope someday the truth will come out and the patsie will really be remembered for what they are cheaters, i guess cheaters do prosper....until all the evidence comes (if the league dosent burn it )

1. Belichick has shown clearly he doesn't care what other people think. Hell, he will only be happy winning the SB if he also goes undefeated, sets the single season scoring record, Brady gets 50 TDs, and wins every playoff game by 30. And he still would find something to complain about.
2. I can't group this with Bonds for a few reasons - nothing he did in the past was cheating until this year - he got caught 7 minutes into the first game, so never benefitted from it- he didn't lie and try to hide what he did from the NFL or anyone else - they've clearly won all 9 games this year without cheating; they've been under more scrutiny than any team in history.
He (and the Pats) have been punished and are paying the price (never mind the brilliant move to acquire SF's #1 this year, they still lost their #1 pick).

I don't think anyone would be happy to be labeled a cheater, winning or not. But winning the superbowl would go a long way to help take the sting away for a while.
I have said it before. It is a sad thing that this had to happen. A lot of fans feel betrayed. This whole thing has left a bad taste in the mouths of those NFL fans who have watched in amazement as the Patriots legacy emerged over the last number of years.
Now, there are those who are angry and upset. Accusations of running up the score on opponents. If it weren't for this whole "spygate" fiasco, no one would be talking about this garbage. We would just sit back and say how awesome this team is.
But the sad unfortunate truth is, the NFL felt a fine and penalty was due, and therefore cheating occurred (at least this year and last--when the Packers caught them, but didn't raise a stink about it). That led to speculation about the past championship years. So in the minds of many fans, the legacy is tainted. Sad, but true.

Are you trying to tell me that Don Shula didn't cheat???? That's just sour grapes from a grumpy old man. He even retracted what he said a couple of days alter. Every team and player will do what it can do win, even if it involves cheating. The dominance of the Pats has nothing to do with a few videos. I'm not saying it's right, in fact, it upsets me. But you asked if he'd be happy despite being caught. ABSOLUTELY. In most peoples' minds, the end justifies the means. Just ask Barry.

When any person or persons achieve a certain amount of greatness, the process will ALWAYS create enemies and haters. It is a fact of life.
Yes, if Bellichic does win the super bowl, their will be a cloud of suspicion surrounding the win. No different then Bonds. I am no Pats fan, but I do not think they deserve all the criticism they receive.

That's a really good question. You're right, those accusations will always hang over the franchise whether they're true or not.
I'll say this though, Bellicheck and company will be a lot happier if they win the Super Bowl and are labled cheaters then if they don't win the Super Bowl.

Bellichick will be happy, he doesn't care about rules, class or anything, just winning. That's part of what makes him a great coach. Sadly, his cheating has put a cloud over everything they have accomplished. Obviously it has been going on at least since Mangini was on his staff, since Mangini was the one who tipped off the league. Let's also remember, the Pats got in trouble for tampering and other stuff. They sold their soul to get rings. It is just disappointing for fans of the sport.

Truthfully, I don't think anything will change Bellichic's attitude-the only ones who will be happy with a Pat win will be true pat fans-it is just teaching all those little Pat fans that cheating is good, and all else is evil.

The "camera" incident was in the first quarter, of the first game, of the season. It had NO EFFECT on the outcome of the game. Therefore, there was NO CHEATING, only intent.
Since the incident, the Patriots have been under constant scrutiny, and the Refs have come down harder, on the Patriots, than on every other team. Therefore, their wins are all legitimate, and NOT the results of cheating.
All this fussing and beating a dead horse, is only adding fuel to the Patriots fire, and they will continue to punish, those who get in their way.
Go Patriots !!!!!!!!!

I think he's satisfied as long as he has the title and the ring.
I feel badly for players and personnel in the Patriots organization that had no idea the cheating was taking place. They forever have to deal with being a part of this scandal.
