because obviously if it annoys you that much, but everyone thinks, that's something that you'll want to consider when making a final decision.

It annoys me when they assume a name is spelled a certain way. Why not ask the person how their name is spelled. Every Sunday I tell my son's teacher his name is spelled Dylan, not Dillon. Yet every Sunday after class his papers have it spelled Dillon. Drives me nuts. My husbands is spell Wain (Wayne) like Gawain with out the Ga. Still it is always misspelled even when you spell it out for the person. Utility bills are the worse because we have had it corrected time and time again and still the bill comes in with the wrong name. I think it is just rude for people to not listen and at least attempt to spell the name the way a person spells it. However, I might just be too sensitive.

And don't get mad when you ask for people's opinions on a name and they tell you it's a stupid name!
I'm sorry, Jayden, Kayden and Aiden are STUPID names.

I would have looked at them and asked them what the big deal with it is and if your name bothers them that much then they don't need to speak to you. Sounds like they are too judgemental.
