I am pro-life all the way. But, I don't judge people who feel differently than myself. Their beliefs are just different from mine. Doesn't make me or them better or worse.

Well first of all let me be very clear that I hardly see how a woman MURDERING her unborn child can ever be considered a choice. My girls were born 2 months early and are doing fantastic today, which is why it makes me sick to think that in some states it would have been perfectly legal to KILL them if my wife thought it was her CHOICE to do so. Absolutely astonishing.
ON THE FLIP SIDE.....there is a book called "Freak-o-nomics" which connects the dots between various subjects with some very interesting results. For example.......
In the early 90's violent crime was on the rise in this country. So much in fact that the Clinton administration was projecting double and even tripple violent crime rates by the end of the 90s. Then all of the sudden over the course of a year, the crime rates dropped. BY A LOT! The Clinton administration tried to take credit, insisting that their economic policies were creating more jobs (as if murderers with jobs don't murder). But then an interesting fact was revealed. Roe VS Wade! They discovered that when abortion became legal, low income women were aborting their children instead of feeling forced into having them. Thus there were fewer babies being born to single low income mothers, fewer kids growing up unwanted, fewer kids turning into teens that got into petty crimes & drugs, and fewer juvenile delinquents becoming young adults with violent crime tendencies. So that by the mid-late 90s when these kids would have been entering their 20's as violent criminals, the crime rates declined. And why? Because the 20 year old violent criminals of the 90's were never born in the 70's when abortion became legal!
Coincidence? You decide!

I will start by letting you know that in my own personal life, I've always been for alternatives to abortions, but believe that in the case of an unwanted pregnancy where the parents involved don't want that child and will neglect and abuse it, they baby won't be any better off born.
Of course I'm not saying all pro-lifers, but I always find it interesting that some people who are pro-life are only pro-life while the life is in utero. Most pro-lifers are not for any social services for that baby (like medicine when he/she is sick). Also once that unwanted pregnancy becomes a child and this neglected child grows up in the streets and falls into the very likely and predictable life of crime, those same people who fought for his chance at life, are now the ones in line to execute him. They're also the first to send someones child to fight in an unnecessary war, putting his life on the line so that they can drive their big SUV's and pretend like everything is fine. It's LIFE that we've sent to this war and we make ourselves feel better by calling it "supporting our troops". If we were supporting them and their right to life, as well as the lives of all the innocents there, we'd be bringing them home to their families and we'd keep the familes over there intact too.
All I propose is that if we're pro-life, then why stop at birth? Why not be pro-peace to preserve life AFTER birth?
So tell me... is life really and truly precious or is it only precious before birth?
**************
Edit:
I beg to differ. I'm not excusing failure, but I'm saying if someone is pro-life they should remain pro-life after life is born too. The exclusive act of bringing a child into the world isn't enough to be pro-life. A person who's truly pro-life should be as vigilant about preserving that life after birth, as he/she was in fighting for it to be delivered. The cutting of the umbilical cord doesn't remove the sanctity of life from that baby, even as he/she grows up. Just becuase an elderly person isn't as cute and cuddly, doesn't mean his/her life isn't precious. Cutting the elderly's social security isn't pro-life and yet some pro-life advocates vote to remove "life" from these parents and grandparents who have contributed to this money in trust and count on it to live their final years.
All I'm saying is that consistancy of a noble belief is the key to living an actualized existance. Picking and choosing our morals based on what suits our personal agenda is not rightous.
ps thank you Jen.

Pro-Choice. You see at it as moral/immoral. Which is no ones place to judge or legislate. This is a private matter that isn't anyones business. Except for those making the decision and experiencing the situation.

1. I am PRO LIFE, 2. Since I am Reincarnated, I know that I still have 'Things to do' and must accomplish these, before "Actual Death", 3. I have never met, nor have I spoken to anyone, who WAS aborted, to learn of THEIR FEELINGS and OPINIONS !!!

Abortion shouldn't be used as a morning after pill, but people love to make love, and the devil take tomorrow. Pro -Life is nice, especially if your proud of being holier than thou, but I know some people who got me believing is retro-active abortions. Cull the herd.

I don't think anyone is Pro-Death. Sometimes religious groups damnify people and say they should burn in hell. Now that is hate, and I guess that makes them Pro-Death. I am Anti-ProDeath.
I hate these groups can see past their hate clouded vision and find God and become Pro-Life and Pro-Kindness and Pro-Understanding.

I am pro-choice.
No one sane is-pro death.
As to the insanity (?) rates--I am guessing since you call yourself prolife you haven't had an abortion and you're not looking too great asking this, so...draw your own conclusions.
*TJTB makes a great point.
And SuperTuesday, too.
