No, Koi and Gold fish should not be kept at the same temperature as tropical fish and before the weather is warm enough to put them back in the pond, they will have grown large enough to EAT the neons and guppies which they will!

I wouldn't think so neons and guppies are tropical fish and live in warm water. Goldfish and koi's are coldwater fish, they are probably fine in their pond, dont forget during the winter/cold weather they don't do and awful lot anyway, their growth rate will slow down, but they should pick up in the spring.

Your indoor tank is warm water (normally about 25 degrees), and you shouldn't put any coldwater fish in there, as you risk losing them. I don't know where you live, but my pond temperature is 5-6 degrees at the moment!
That would be like me going from a freezer into a steamroom - Ouch!
And Koi will start to eat everything in sight when they are big enough!

NO! Goldfish ought to never be saved interior of a similar tank as tropical fish. Why? Take your %.: a million) The goldfish's metabolic price will improve, meaning the fish will die previously than it would want to. 2) Goldfish are great waste machines that are preferrred for ponds. 3) Tropical water can not dissolve as a lot oxygen as cooler water, so the fish might want to ought to breathe faster to make amends for the shortcoming of oxygen, which back, will shorten its lifespan. 4) Many tropical fish are sufficiently small to in good structure into the mouth of the goldfish (by ability of the time it really is totally grown), meaning they are going to be considered as honest recreation by ability of the time the goldfish is gigantic sufficient. //Edit// ALL fish supply off ammonia, notwithstanding the bigger the fish, the better the bioload, meaning the goldfish will produce extra ammonia than the tropicals.

No. Goldfish and koi do best in cool, unsalted water with a modest current. Guppies do best in still, warm water with a bit of aquarium salt added. If you want to keep these fish, you really need two tanks.
