Many things can be said in the impression of this picture, many things, as a picture, especially a still one, is not always what otherwise could have been expressed in one thousand words, the are often highly evocative and impressionistic. Still pictures often leave in the mind as wordless thoughts and subtle feeling. When we see something this still that should be in motion, it becomes very compelling in imagination.
This could be a scene of a sad but gentle parting of the light of tender memories just for the day and surely for the night that is to follow. It could also be a scene of a new dawn breaking upon horizon, a new promise, and a new hope for a new life. It could be about the both, the time or the place. The place is where the divide between source of warming glow of light, high above in the skies, in is direct contrast with the coldest straits of nearly frozen lake. The lonesome but warmly clad figure, probably that of a lady, and the wilderness upon which it stand to gaze is contrasting too. And it is due these contrasts that human concerns are evoked – where amber glow of light makes us realise for the figure in the picture the cold reality it faces on earth and the icy wilderness the possibilities of a thaw and ice giving way to gentle rippling water of the spring. It is general description of human condition in life that is very much synonymous to the language of the picture you have chosen.
It is not true that we come alone and often stand alone to face challenges of life? It is we alone who can truly understand our longing and yearning for light, and life to share. For us light upon the high horizons is never fixed, it is never constant, it is always moving. It is always either the time of the early dawn, the time to depart from home in search for opportunities, or the time of an evening, time to get back home within the comforting company of our loved ones.

I see a picture that has the ability to trigger a lot of different thoughts and feelings. One will easily be able to identify with the person standing there at the edge and project any kind of feelings. Looking at the landscape the observer can be lifted beyond daily worries and go into fields of subtle existence where 'personality' and its content are transcended.
Indeed a picture with potency and power.

PS: You didn’t ask specifically for a possible emotional reaction so I looked in the most objective way possible for me.

I feel shame and sadness.
At first glance, it seems beautiful, but the woman is wearing fur. That reminds me of all the anti-fur lobbying that went on in the '60s and '70s and how horribly cruel people were to animals.
Then there's all that snow and tranquility ... the tranquility is our right; we all need it but how many of us can find it? Why should we be satisfied with a picture or an image? We need the real thing.
The snow is melting; a reminder of climate change and yet another way humans have abused Nature.
O.K. I just realised I feel anger too.

" I came here with an agitated mind.I felt unwanted. Rejected.I felt I had no purpose left in this world or in life.. I didnot want to end my life. Look at me. If I had , i could have come completely underdresed or even undressed in this cold climate to end my life. But, No. That is not the option for me.Bodily I am fine. I look and feel younger and I am reasonably endowed with abilities.
Yet I am weak in mind.
As I stand in this serene place I find everything sems to be in still. Calm. Unagitated. In harmony. The frozen water seems to tell the still water "I am you and yet I am different. I am hard and I will become soft and flowing like you soon. The distant mountain ranges are barren and desolate. and yet the mountain seems to say" Wait. beneath me lies a thousand seds and plants and lie that is waiting to spring up and live"
I want to go back home. I want to believe that there is life for me. In me. It will spring up in time. eveything happens for a cause and I donot need to find out why. I will go by the tide and wait for my revival"

Sadly I look at this and though I do feel a deep sense of inner peace and calm, I tend to look at it and conclude that its been digitally altered so its not a "true" photographic image of something REAL.

Nature.... The power of nature....earth seems so still and stark, sky so vibrant with colours, giving hope to earth and then there is this human being waiting to receive the bounty of nature's benevolence....

I can't express the feeling with words. They'll all seem too insignificant to describe the feeling.
