America is in a MESS. Who is primarily responsible?

Wow, there are really just a ton of parties and issues responsibile for the mess our country is in. That being said please let me make two diclosures before I begin before I hop up on this soapbaox here:

1) I am a conservative about many issues, but have strong libertarian leanings.
2) ALBEIT A MESS, THE USA IS THE BEST THING GOING, and I LOVE MY COUNTRY AND THOSE WHO DEFEND HER!!!!!!

The problems as I see them:

1) An entitlement mentality has wounded us. Social and politcal groups all have their hands out wanting something for themselves at the expense of other groups.

2) Politicians who just want to advance the cause to their party. If the Dems have a good idea, the Republicans won't endose it and vice versa. Its all about making the other party look bad, and frankly when these games are played with national security I think they are borderline treasonous.

3) A disassimilation of the melting-pot. It seems like in the past decades up unitl the late 80's, people wanted to be assimilated into the American culture. Now everyone wants there own identy, Hispanic American, African Americans, Left Handed Gay Lesbian and Transgendered Americans wih speech impediments, everyone wants their own label and aren't happy with just being an AMERICAN anymore.

4) We've just gotten soft as a people. Our great advancements have given us such a wonderful standard of life, and has made us not used to the hard work of our forefathers.

5) Politcal correctness. We need to be able to stand up and say "THATS A SUPID IDEA" or "YOU ARE A MORON FOR DOING THAT" without the fear of rertibution or lawsuits. The need for labels on hairdryers that tell consumers not to use them in the bathtub comes to mind. Why won't the democrtic presdentitial canditates say the words "ISLAMIC EXTREMIST"??????????? Newspapers do not accurately report some events for fear of not being poltically correct.

6). People have come to rely on the government as their protector and provider. Our framers meant for the Federal goverment to supply only basic services and protections.

7). Trial Attorneys and huge jury awards have made it seem like everyone wants to play "Lawsuit Lottery." Hey moron, MCDONALDS didn't make you fat, you made you fat by choosing to eat there excessively.

8) Corporated Greed and Union protections. Both parties need to share the blame. Corportations should pay their fair-share and a union should not protect a poor employee.

9) Errosion of civil liberities.

OKAY, I'll get down off the soapbox now and give someone else a shot at it.

No matter what happens in a corporation, when there is a problem, responsibility flows UP the ladder. That's why the CEO, CFO, and other top execs take the heat.

Look to the top for our current problems. The causes may be elsewhere, but responsibility falls onto the Prez (CEO) and the secretaries of state, of treasury, etc.

I can make this very clear and easy for you to understand.

Take your mom or sister to Iraq and drop her off there for about a month. If she survives the experience, she will have lost probably about 30 pounds, ate food that had bugs in it, had to stay in her house for fear of terrorist bombings, and drank water with live sewage in it.

I DON'T KNOW WHY PEOPLE DON'T UNDERSTAND WHAT TERRORISM IS ABOUT.

IT GOES AGAINST EVERYTHING WE HOLD DEAR TO OUR HEART AS AMERICANS.

For those of you with your head up your a s s that don't understand WHY terrorism is, LET ME EXPLAIN IT TO YOU.

TERRORISM happens because the psychotic people that used to be in charge FEAR LOSING CONTROL OF THE PEOPLE.

THEY DO NOT WANT WOMEN TO HAVE RIGHTS.

THEY DO NOT WANT THEIR WOMEN TO DRIVE.

THEY DO NOT WANT THEIR WOMEN TO BE LAWYERS, DOCTORS, OR ANY KIND OF PROFESSIONALS.

THEY DO NOT WANT THEIR WOMEN TO VOTE.

AS A MATTER OF FACT, THEY HAVE LAWS THAT ALLOW THEM TO STONE THEIR WOMEN TO DEATH FOR JUST ABOUT ANY REASON THEY CAN COME UP WITH.

THEY DO NOT WANT THEIR CHILDREN TO WEAR JEANS AND LISTEN TO ROCK AND ROLL OR RAP MUSIC. (Like every other country where the people have become FREE.)

One of the big secrets about terrorists is they thought they could bring down the world economy (our quality of life and civilization) by destroying a fair chunk of the world's petroleum distribution system. I guess you don't realize what would happen TO ANY COUNTRY ON THIS PLANET if enough of the oil distribution were interrupted. Besides not being able to drive your car, YOU COULD EASILY FREEZE IN THE WINTER. So for all of the dummies that said Bush only did this for oil, understand that without oil, the world stops turning. So yes, this war did have to do a lot with oil. Take away any country's food and you will have a war. Take away any country's land, and you will have a war. Well, taking away any country's energy source will also cause a war.

BUT THE PART THAT REALLY HURTS ME PERSONALLY, IS THE FACT THAT THEY WERE ABLE TO COME INTO OUR COUNTRY AND DESTROY OUR PYRAMIDS ON SEPTEMBER 11th. (I watched the buildings fall that day. If you didn't, try YouTube.) Over three thousand people died that day. It was America's job to protect those people. The fact that we've been at war for these few years and only lost only a little over 3,000 of our God Blessed soldiers is proof of how well we can fight a modern war. When we were fighting for your grandfather's freedom, to remove the last scourge of the planet, (Hitler), 20 MILLION OF OUR SOLDIERS DIED.

SO YOU COULD HAVE THE LIFE YOU HAVE TODAY.

Keep these facts in mind.

It may take a while, but all the FREE countries of the world WILL REMOVE TERRORISM FROM THIS PLANET.

No matter what they do, or how badly they hurt a few of us, FREEDOM WILL PREVAIL.

TERRORISTS ARE NOTHING MORE THAN THE MODERN ROACH OF PLANET EARTH.

And by the way, to the morons who say we are no safer today than 9/11, when was the last time that American soil was attacked? It seems to me that they are doing a DAMN GOOD JOB protecting us. REMEMBER, the terrorists only have to get it right once, WE have to get it right every time.

I disagree with blaming the White House regardless of who is in it. The real culprits are the citizens with their lack of dedication to continuing education, love of entertainment news, and poorly executed parenting.

We need to:
Learn about all the issues, not just the popular, media espoused ones.

Continue to learn about new developments and discoveries.

Raise our children to take responsibility.

Most people live by folowing examples. In the US the main examples are directors of companies filling their own pockets independant on the succes of the company and politicians who lie there a** of just to stay in power. What can normal people do with such examples in front of them?
