Actually thats on old subject in AI circles. Artificial Intelligence is actually fairly easy and is done all the time. Its part of vending machines, streetlights, autopilots on planes, etc. But Artificially Human is the hard part.

Such as, in games. An AI computer opponent going arcoss the map is easy. Its a straight line, and going around obstacles in the shortest way. But human players make use of that by setting up ambushes.

To achieve AH it takes an opponent which might do a flanking move, or a feint, or go wide and attack from the rear, an rarely even do something usually stupid but so totally off the wall that it catches the player off guard and it works.

So the AI programmers like to joke around that its a real statement about people, the fact that going from AI to AH means tossing out intelligence in favor of randoms.

I guess thats what will always keep us ahead. No matter how smart computers get, they will only be able to do the "intelligent" stuff and always end up leaving the art, creativity, spontonaity, and discovering of new directions to us humans.
