What do you mean by slow? I read your question and thought how fast time goes by. Today I am 48 and seems that not long ago I was only 28. The older you get the faster it goes by.

Your question have several meanings and in order for you not to think about time as something like a turtle-walk, find another question like: why you never able to finish what you have started? Or what do you really need and want in life? And when you start to realize your true self, next time you will ask is " why time is so short!"

Because your running to fast. As you approach the speed of light time well actually slow down (and so does your MASS).
So IF you actually got to the speed of light (which is impossible) time would stand still (Stop).
So stop going so fast!
