if you are not afraid of heights, then maybe start with a log flume ride. those are rides that you are usually on a boad and it has one big drop. unlike a roller coaster, it has only one drop and it will get you used to the drops. (Splash Mountain is an example of a log flume ride) then work up to kiddie coasters. you might want to ride them several times so that you can get used to the drops. if you are on a coaster/log flume and you don't want to feel like you are falling, face the front. don't look at the horizon or it will feel like you are falling. if you look at the direction of the ride, it will feel like you are going fast.

If fear of heights is your problem - start small (like the Grizzly at King's Dominion or Splash Mountain at Disney World) and work your way up.
Indoor coasters would be a good first step too - like Space Mountain - because they're dark and tend not to have the big drops & loops.

according to threat you're afraid and do only no longer opt to confess it... the crushing squeezing feeling is in many situations from panic, the bruises based the place you get them, according to threat you carry on too tight, or place the lap bar or restraints to tight (lower back because of the fact of worry)... It does no longer mean you're a wuss or something like that... some human beings do only unlike those varieties of rides... i understand curler coasters and rides with particularly some G-forces make me ill and supply me a headache... so i'm no longer able to experience them yet i do no longer think of i'm a wuss for that.

try the ferris wheel, so you get the height of roller coaster, then go to bumper cars so you get the bump of a rollar coaster.

start on a roller coaster that doesn't have any big drops in it, just goes kinda fast...then work you way up with the drops...the drops are always what gets me, but after you get used to them they are not so bad! :)
