Working around low income earners I often hear stories of people selling prescription pain pills they get for free on medicade for ten and twenty dollars a pill and then purchasing pot to smoke .

Since the pain pills seem to be ineffective at managing the pain racked bodies of working americans and highly expensive as a recreational drug for the youth with no tolerance to medications what can be done to reduce the cost of pot .

I say it's a perfect set up for our corrupt, tyrannical government,

they give you the crap drugs to keep the public sedated and either way big Pharma gets payed for it,
then they put you in jail for the benign effective drug of choice, weed,

then when they catch the people using prescription drugs illegally, they can put them in jail too.

It's all set up to increase an already enormous government infrastructure.

It keeps and creates more government jobs and makes more citizens slaves in the system.

For corpo-government it's always a win/win situation.

I believe that the Health Care System would stand a better chance by legalizing pot and taxing it to death than using tobacco as the source of its income.

I can't believe anyone thinks more taxes are an answer! The government would destroy it - it should just be decriminalized and when the risk goes down the price should go down. Farmers who are paid not to farm should be growing it.

There are other legal, natural cures that are less expensive.

you don't need a drug bill. THC comes in pill form. They usually just give it to people dying of cancer or AIDs though.

Make it legal and start selling it in packs like cigarettes.

That should push the street price down.
