It's because you were born to your mother.

Your dad had a little something to do with it but you came from your mom's body....

Hey - If your mum's attractive then hopefully you are good looking too.
Just because you're a boy doesn't necessarily mean you will look like your dad. That's not how genetics works. You are the equal product of both parents, and carry the genetic history of both parents going right back through the generations. Your height may be from a previous generation, or it may just be because your diet during chidhood was better than your parents' diet.

I hope this helps

Pete

Your chum isn't thoroughly incorrect. each and every now and then a 2 3 hundred and sixty 5 days age distinction (in severe college) could be somewhat perplexing - for some human beings. yet once you're saying that he's actual and neither of you have a difficulty with it, choose for it. He sounds like a stable guy from what you're saying, so why no longer? 2 years isn't that lots, and you're the two under 18, so i do no longer see any difficulty. there is not any reason to sense unclear only because of the fact what one chum reported. stable success, and that i'm hoping I helped!

It's just the way the genetics mixed. I'm a female. I'm lots taller than my mom, more like my dad's height. I have her eyes, his hair. And I have characteristics that remind me of each of them, as well as a few other family members. My little brother has his own combination of genetic characteristics.

Genetics is the science of heredity and variation in living organisms.
At its most fundamental level, inheritance in organisms occurs by means of discrete traits, called "genes". In his experiments studying the trait for flower color, Mendel observed that the flowers of each pea plant were either purple or white — and never an intermediate between the two colors. These different, discrete versions of the same gene are called "alleles".

When parents have children, their children randomly inherit one of the two alleles from each parent.

It's just genetics....some traits are also only passed on from mom while others only from dad....and others still from way down the line of ancestors....shorter parents but taller grandparents = tall you!

Welcome to the wonderful world of genetics bro. Who knows by the time you're 20 you may look more like your dad. Don't stress out over this as it is quite natural.

Just because you look like your mom don't mean that you look like a girl! You could maybe have the same head, eyes, chin nose, but you'll look like a guy still! LOL don't worry, you don't like a girl

I have three kids. Two of them look like me and possess nothing of their father's looks. My middle son is the spitting image of his father and looks nothing at all like me. It's all in the genetics.
