In winter the place is a zoo .All the snowbirds come from wherever towing their big 5th wheel trailers or driiving their big RV's and spend the winter camped out on the desert Then of course businesses spring up to service their needs and the party is on.

There is nothing to do in Quartzite except watch the RV's go by. In the winter months, the population exponentially grows with people who just "set up camp". There is a HUGE flea market that has just about every mineral conceivable there, but other than that, you're out of luck.

Not much. Its a very small town off of the freeway truely in the middle of nowhere.

Not much but the colorado river is close maybe raft down it? water is kinda cold! or go across to Blythe,Ca. get some local color gas may be higher/
