I usually go to businessweek.com (or sometimes wsj.com), as with this example when I was looking at Citizen Communications: http://investing.businessweek.com/research/stocks/snapshot/snapshot.asp?symbol=czn

Just under the chart is a link that says "historical quote": http://investing.businessweek.com/research/stocks/snapshot/historical.asp?symbol=CZN

You set the time frame for the chart and then it gives a table below.

Some libraries will have books listing the initial and final prices of stocks for each day, too. You might have an easier time finding this at a university library.

If you're talking about the stock historical prices for past days, you could refer to Yahoo Finance.
