What a good question, I wish it would sometimes!!
Often it's nice to 'go with the flow' and take the unexpected route, but when you feel tired and confused it's heaven to have an organised plan of action and a path laid out for you.

Because life does not always have a sense of direction as we would like to have it but a sense of direction of its own which is not planned but spontaneous.

would you want life dictating to you where to go, or have the freedom to choose yourself, even if you end up in a ditch up a one way street or where you want to be, you programme the sat nav to where you want to go.
