What Do You Think Of "Soul Train"?

Question

Was it one of the coolest if not the coolest dance show ever? The "Soul Train" line was cool? Opinions?

Back when it was really popular and I was in my early 20's I felt that I should have auditioned for it I danced very well. I envisioned myself going down that Soul Train line or being on a platform dancing.

Now, I do the over 30. I do that well too.

It soo hilarious! I love watching (when I get the chance) the re-runs from back in the day. The outfits, the dance moves, its soo funny. Don was the best host. I am not too crazy about the host now, its not the same but its cool. It gives new artist and old a chance to perform and showcase their talent.

The old Soul Train from the late 70's early 80's was GREAT!!! I watched that all the time... The "new" (not even sure it's still on) sucked, the host just had no soul, lets face it Don Cornelius was a mack...

i like to watch it and laugh at the old style of dress and dance. there is this guy that keeps on kicking real hi then spins. lol. that guy is so cool.

I used to watch & dance to it and still have that theme running through my head, with: "It's SOULLLLLLLLtrain!" Nostalgic, really.
