Can I call the town? Would they give me that information?

Homes for sale are on something called an MLS list that Realtors can check. You need to be an Realtor or something like that to get that list. (I'm not exactly sure.. that's what my realtor told me.)

Anyways here are some links that claim to have listings.

Depends on how the house is 'for sale', and how it is advertised. If it's listed with a real estate agency, a simple check of www.realtor.com would probably give you the information. If it's 'for sale by owner', you're going to have to either visit the house or find advertisement offering the property.
