First A-Rod and Borras take away a bit of the luster from the Red Sox championship win by announcing his "opt-out" during the final innings of the World Series.

Yesterday, a day that should have been dominated the baseball headlines what with A-Rod returning to the Bronx was completely overshadowed by Bonds' indictment.

Irony? Did MLB have a hand in this?

MLB had nothing to do with the indictment. If MLB had any say in any of this they would have continued to cover up everything, including the usage of performance enhancing drugs of all their athletes. An indictment of Bonds is another black eye for the game of baseball. Therefore, I say no they are not related at all.

No, it was building between Arod and the Yanks.

And the MLB didnt control this indictment!
