Most laws benifit people but there is a law in texas that you can no longer smoke in closed areas. This law isnt in North Carolina you are allowd to smoke in a designated area but it can be enclosed like one side of the restuarant is smokeing and the other is not so I guess maybe that doesnt benefit many people since all thats doing is the smoke is traveling and all thats happenign is the non smokers are second hand smoking which is worse.

I remember hearing of a law in a state out east that states, when traveling, you must shoot a flare up every mile. Has to do with motorists warning the approach of motor vehicles to horse and wagon traffic.

There is a law in Michigan that a woman can not cut her hair without her husband's permission. That does not benefit me.

It does not encourage diversity, but rather furthers division. It also implies that some students are handicapped by the race. Socioeconomics holds students back, not race.

The seat belt law. I think that should be your choice whether you wear it or not. I am the one that bought the car and I am the one paying for insurance for the car and I am the one who paid to have the car licensed.
