Which phone would be the best to get? I'm looking for mostly texting/internet features, and how much the plans cost.

I just finished my month long quest of finding out this exact thing. I came to the conclusion the Helio Ocean was the best choice, for me anyway. I like the texting and able to get all of my emails accounts sent to the phone, GPS google maps is nice, and I just got Opera downloaded and it works great. The display is crisp and clear.

Here are the sights I used for my research on the Helio Ocean:

FINAWIRELESS (cheapest price):

The T-Mobile Sidekick. They have many different kinds of Sidekicks. Here are the ones I know of; Sidekick ID, Sidekick 2,(Idk if these are still on sale at T-Mobile stores but you could find it off eBay) the Sidekick 3, the Sidekick LX, and the Sidekick Slide. The last I named are new Sidekick that just came out last month. The Sidekick ID is $100. The Sidekick 2 is going to vary on eBay. The Sidekick 3 is $200. The Sidekick LX is $300. The Sidekick Slide is also $300. All of these phones have great spacious full keyboards, so it's great for texting. All of these phones have Internet features too. I think it might cost extra though. They all have IM and email. The Sidekick 3 has a MP3 player. The Sidekick LX and the Sidekick Slide have myspace and all of them you get a free T-Mobile email account. The cheapest plan is 300 minutes for $40 a month. Some of the bad things about these phones are that the Sidekick ID and 3 have a bad screen image. It's kind of dull and not that bright. In the ID they took out to many features like no camera MP3 player or stuff like that. The Sidekick LX doesn't have video but does have camera. The Sidekick Slide got rid of the flip screen but now has a slide up screen that slides straight up. I personally like the flip screen.

Hope I could help, and if you have any more questions email me at littlepiggy444@yahoo.com

No doubt about it, the Verizon Voyager. Not only does the phone have amazing internet and a great apperance, but it is like the perfect mixture of the iPhone and the Sidekick!

Its iPhone apperance says already enough, it has a touch screen and has many iPhone like icons and tools.

It can flip open to its keyboard and internet. This is the best for texting and internet! Which is just like the Sidkick.

Verizon is also known to get out the best plans. AT&T has given out bills in boxes, and t-mobile has a very limited plan. Verizon allows you to change your plan, make a family plan, and lower to better deals. Not to mention the fact that is is cheaper than all of the phones! Helio is also, not the best phone company.

They are all great phones... there's only one way... pick them up and see which one "feels" better. Each has their strengths and weaknesses.

Good luck
