Yes Kaspersky is a very reputable antivirus. It has one of the highest detection rates of any antivirus program. It is also very customizable. What separates Kaspersky from many other antivirus programs is that it can effectively remove viruses (which most prgrams can), but it also has a high detection rate of trojans and other spyware. One major flaw that people note is that the scans can be extremely long i.e. several hours, and it is resource heavy. However, many people over look this because of its extremely effective pc protection.

I consider this antivirus to be light years ahead of any other antivirus program. The Chinses are very secret and will not enter into ratings. I used them for ten years and not one virus has ever hit my pc as the background scanner really kills a hidden embedded trojan virus in real time. Kaspersky is an excellent antivirus
But Anti-Virus is not good at removing spywares,adwares,trojans and pop up.
