This is a policy question. It is not American policy to torture. She answered correctly.
Even Bush said, "We do not torture."

The United States signed the Geneva Convention stating that we will not torture. We don't torture because information gathered through torture is unreliable and if we torture our troops will be tortured.
John McCain has been tortured and is against it, so is our military leaders.
