It can't be Kevin Garnett. He won the regular season MVP in 2004.

i would say scottie pippen who could shut down anybody from the pg to the c on the court. He could had been amazing on his own in his prime and carried the bulls many a times during the regular season. He made 1st defensive team about 100 times and was a rediculous rebounder and shot blocker (which nobody can claim other than centers who couldn't shoot the 3 like scottie did).........if the greatest player of all times couldn't get a ring without pippen, it really means something...scottie pippen was the same as magic, incredible players on any position or spot on the court.......period.

Clyde Drexler - he was MJ before MJ but not as solid on defense and he played out in Portland= very ltitle press coverage.

I am bit bias here but I would add Reggie Miller even though he really was just a spot up shooter but one of the best ever at nailing big shots.

Either Clyde Drexler or Patrick Ewing (both were competing against the likes of MJ, Magic, & Bird.)

Patrick Ewing - overshadowed by Olajuwon and Jordan and
Clyde Drexler - overshadowed by Olajuwon and Jordan ....

I think both Ewing and Drexler was on an era where Jordan and Olajuwon existed both either in the West or East.

Kobe should have won it a few years ago. The Lakers were one bad bounce away from beating the Suns. And with that roster- it's amazing how far the Lakers got and how they were playing over their heads.

Nickster

John Stockton, if Karl Malone deserve 2 MVP, Stockton should get at least 1 of them.
