Isn't he having a better season than the other two?
He's leading a more limited team to a 8-1 record. The Pats and the Colts have top 5 defenses, Green Bay's D is the #11. Indy and NE have better receiver too.
Neither Manning nor Brady lead the league in yards. Favre does.
Brady is on pace to break a single season record. Favre is breaking the most important all time records, and he probably has more consecutive starts than the other two guys combined.
Favre has three 4th quarter comebacks and an overtime victory. Brady only has one comeback and Manning blew two comeback chances.
Finally, Favre is 38, while Brady and Manning are physically in their primes.

I'm not saying that Favre is better than Manning or Brady. He just deserves more credit and I want to see Peyton and Tom doing the same in 8 years.

But what good defense has Favre gone against this year and I think most people see Favre as a teddy bear like old guy who is enjoying his last kicks while they see Brady and Manning a lions who at the end of the day really have something to say about who wins championships here and now. The Packers have all the looks of a smoke and mirrors rambling wreck who are heading for a big fall. It is cute and all but it will not be pretty when they play the Cowboys or make the playoffs. They just seem soft(The Pack).
People esp. men also romanticise Favre because he reminds them of ten years ago when they felt like they were in their primes and it makes them feel good to see an "old guy" still doing his thing, makes them feel vital. In opposition to a guy like Brady who is busy trying to figure out which model he wants to dismiss/impregnate next, this just angers most men.

The old man is having a great year, and he's had a great career, but seriously, he can't carry a clip board for Tom Brady.
Brady only has one 4th quarter comeback victory because he buries other teams. Favre isn't as good this year as Brady, Big Ben, or Romo.

I talk about Favre, he doesn't have great WR like Moss and Wailker in his team. The patroits are great all around, but packers can only go to Favre because they don't have a good running game. I think packers is a shock 8-1 and tie for 2nd in the NFL.

Brett Favre is having a better year, than Manning, possibly the best of his career... but Brady is playing on a whole other level....

Are you feel real? Brady leads in just about stat you can judge a QB on, and he's not lost a game. I love Favre but to say he's having a better year than Brady is absurd.
I'm out'a here!

I have a lot of respect for Favre. Hes is a great QB, but I think if you put him head to head with Brady, Brady would be better. I will add that if you put them head to head while Favre was at his Prime, Brady wouldn't stand a chance.

it's because the media is biased towards them. if you date supermodels, get actresses pregnant, then lead your team to an undefeated season by cheating they're going to talk about you alot. as for Peyton you can't watch tv without seeing any of his stupid commercials. Favre doesn't do any of these things he's just a boring guy that leading the youngest team in the NFL to a 8-1 season.
and Brady and Manning will probably break his records but they will never leave a legacy on the game like Brett already has.

I think you have a great point. Aside from saying that Favre should have retired already, I don't see any specific criticisms from people that don't like him. I'm glad he's having a great year, and I hope the Packers go all the way!

Will Brady and Manning have a year like this when they get 38? Have to wait and see.

LOL.
Favre and Packer fans are a riot. Wait til the playoffs, you really ought to see how the last five Packer playoff runs ended. "Favre drops back, he's got a receiver but he's double covered. Favre throws.... Interception!"
