I didn't know there was an age limit. If this is the Salvation Army Angel Tree, see below:
The Salvation Army sponsors Angel Tree to provide holiday gifts for children age 12 and younger and for seniors age 62 and above.
God luck and God bless

Your local Police Department should have a tree in their lobby. You write your name & phone # down & then return with the gift that they have requested on the ornament on the tree OR the list on the wall/counter. Everyone has a different system for the sign-up. I believe the optimum age is 55 or older. There are other programs that also include anyone who is physically or mentally disabled. The Police Officers are often the ones who submit a persons name to be placed on the "Giving Tree".

Just me... it's a Christmas tree where you can put a little tag on as a decoration, and others who wish to, can choose one of the ornaments, and the person who chooses, buys Christmas gifts for the person named on the tag (or ornament). There are trees for children of jail inmates also. That's the ones I buy for.

" You know that seniors can be put on trees?" And your grandmother can't or won't put the Angel on the tree. Is this an American thing. I really would like someone to explain.?
And give my love to your grandmother.

Any age can put an angel on the tree as long as they can reach it.

You should call who ever sponsors this and ask them. I usually take a tag from a tree and sometimes its a childrens tree and sometimes its and adult tree, either way I enjoy having that special member share my Christmas with me.
