Regardless of how nice their figure is surely these should be worn by younger fitter women. After all these are supposed to be sexy. I have just seen a fifty year old lady (or she looked it) in white trousers with a pink thong. I don't think so do you?

Because she didn't want pantie lines and wanted to feel sexy. My neighbor is in her 60s and she wears them. My mother in-law (she's 51) wears them too and likes the way they look.

White trousers and pink thong is a bad look regardless of age. I don't wear them myself, not because I am 42 but because I find them uncomfortable. Anyone should wear them if they want to, they are good for the no panty line look, but even on an uber-slim 18 year old the top of thong poking out of trousers looks terrible.
PS I promise you that it is very possible for a woman in her 40s to have a sexy fit and toned bum.

What a small minded boy you are. So according to you us women in our 40's should wear frumpy clothes and industrial underwear! I don't think so. But a pink thong, with white trousers a definie no - at any age! x

I think the bigger issue with what you just saw is colored thong with white trousers. No woman of any age should wear that.
So a fit and shapely woman in her 40's or 50's should be stuck wearing grannies? As long as her thong is worn tastefully and discretely I don't see a problem with it.

I disagree as well. Beauty is a personal opinion and I am sure there are many who would have found that attractive. Also why were you looking there in the first place?? Did you ever look at her face?
It would be like me saying that all young people who don't know when to use "there"or "their" should never write a sentence.

As a woman in her late fifties who refuses to grow old gracefully I have to disagree with you.
I haven't got the figure to wear a thong and have found them very uncomfortable but good luck to the women who can and do wear them.
Who are you to tell anyone how to dress.

They may just be wearing a thong to not have a knicker line. And anyone can be sexy if they think themselves sexy.
