from my boss saying he is buying breakfast this morning. Should I be insulted for him thinking I need his charity, or do you think he caught wind of the fact im going out tonight and he wanted to be nice?

don't know what the going out thing has to do with it, but any freebies you can get from the boss is always a good thing.
