It was the name of an actor that they used to see in the movies when they were dating. It was an unusual name to begin with, and then this actor spelled it in an odd way. They liked it and gave it to me. I'm glad. Even though the unusual spelling has caused me headaches all my life, it also gives me some funny stories to tell of the various places and times that people have screwed it up.

They both liked it. Alot. They liked it enough to still call me that even though very good friends of theirs had called their daughter (now my best friend) the very same name only 9 weeks earlier. Lol.

Yes, I was named after my mom's sister and my dad's sister.....I am thankful for that though....she was going to name me Briar Fern.......WOW....that was a close one....hehehehehe
