Put some baking soda in wash water (half to 3/4 cup) or use ammonia or use borax.
I do it all the time cause I sweat like a pig when I go to the gym and just tend to sweat a lot. Detergent alone doesn't cut it for me when trying to remove persipiration odors. It doesn't for a lot of people

Just launder as usual but, as about 1/3 c. to 1/2 c. of baking soda to your wash water... The baking soda is a natural deodorizer AND it boosts your laundry detergent power.. It's cheap and you can find it most anywhere... It's also good if you have small children or are allergic to other products.. I use it in ALL my wash loads... For 12 lbs. it cost around $5 and I use it all around my home... good luck

I use the most amazing laundry soap. It cleans and leaves my clothing odor free all without toxic chemicals. :) This will remove any odor once it is in the clothing. To inhibit it from getting there in the first place, use a deodorant or antiperspirant, however ensure they are not made of toxic chemicals :) If I can help you further let me know. Peace, Ame

Try Borax. It is a natural laundry booster. My mom had problems with my dad's t-shirts discolouring & smelling in the underarm. Borax worked wonders. It is harsh so you need to use it as directed. It isn't sold everywhere so you might have to look around a bit.
Hope this helps!

Add a cup of vinegar to your wash. It will not smell like vinegar. I use to take care of elderly. It removes urine sent, when bleach never would. Also vinegar will soften your clothes.
