No. I have to believe his playing days are over. Last season was almost embarrassing for the Rocket. It's sad because he really had nothing to prove by coming back.

From what I've read, he might be going back to Houston and work for the franchise. In what capacity, is not yet clear.

If roger clemens returns i hope its not for 20 million +. i think he is asking for too much money. hes not worth that much. I mean i know he could still throw the ball 90+ but not worth more then 15+ so if he gets signed i sure hope its for only 15 or less

nope - he's going to take his job in the Astros front office and consult. There's no reason for him to come back after the effort he was able to put forth last season. The Yankees won't take him back, and Houston wants to go younger. The Red Sox, the only other real option, don't have room for him with 6 starters already, as much as it would be a good story

As The Mick said, he's starting a "Personal Services" contract with Houston in 2008.

He should come back to the sox...I heard Jim Koch needs someone to serve Sam Adams to thirsty yankee haters...Duquette dropped him like yesterdays paper years ago...and the bastard went to our pinstripped rivals after a stint in America version 2.0 (toronto)...Clemens sucks, he's fat, old, has 6 kids with "K" names...what a freak...stay home man...we don't want you.

Well there is a chance. I think if he does return it will be to a contender sometime around mid-season.

He would be like Jordan coming back for the Wizards... a HOF player should know when to hang it up and not embarrass himself...
