don't people who get high do it to have no feelings.... that could be a reason...
but if they are drug free then maybe that person is depressed... ready to give up on everything
or maybe they've been through something tragic and just want to block everything out...
i'm really not to sure... I can't imagine no feelings..
but i've always thought about that... sometimes i wish could have no feelins just for like a day... it seems kind of relaxing... no mood swings or nervousness or anxiety or embarrassment or being self-concious... those are some of the feelings i wish i could get rid of
but then again if i didn't have these feelings i wouldn't really feel any accomplishments

What you are describing seems to be a condition called akathasia (I am probably way off with the spelling) It is a clinical condition and CAN be treated with medication. I suffered this along with post partum depression a few years back. This condition is characterized by a total lack of ALL emotion. No happy, no sad, just BLANK...... completely nothing.

It usually means that the person is numb and anything good or bad that might happen in their life or around them has no emotional impact on them. They feel absolutely nothing because they are completely numb!
