A couple of things did you clean underneath the vegetable pans? This is where liquids that have spilled will end up. If it is a light odor purchase baking soda for refrigerators it is made so it will not spill out. I keep a new one in there all year.

With all the answers above ..!! how can I compete?? well.. I can ,, you have CLEANED the fridge .. as some have missed.. you have tried other methods to smell nice,, as others have missed.. BUT have you tried my grannies and my remidy and that is... wait for it ...... vanilla essence,,,yeh don't laugh till you tried it , put a small amount of vanilla essence in an egg cup, or substitute, in your fridge and close the door, then check it out a couple of hours later or overnight and if it don't smell nice.... I'll give up drinking for a month.. meanwhile you have a nice glass of wine and open the fridge door and have another sniff and pat yourself on the back for succeeding.......

It is probably the drip pan down below where the water runs when there is a spill or it defrosts. Take the face plate off below the door and pull the pan out and wash. Run hot water down the drain hole in the fridge too. Gets pretty gunky in there.
