It reads that the M'Canns are to face neglect charges. I dont know how to do links but if any of you out there will do one on this much appreciated.
Apparently a retired solicitor Anthony Bennet said that Kate & Gerry had admitted leaving their children unattended (a fact we all knew)& he has sent his application for a summons to magistrates near the M'Canns home in Leics. So is something going to be done at long last because they are totally guilty of Child Neglect.

Ohoh I have to agree with you On first glance I too thought it was a good thing but the more I hear about him the less I like him.
I too still think they are guilty of neglect.

I don't believe anything will come of this case, If I am right this guy tried to bring a private prosecution against Michael Barrymore some years ago. I think he just tries to to gain some attention to himself. (Bit of a crank if you ask me) I do beleive though that if this had happened to a working/lower class couple the full force of the law would have been thrust upon them. The thing that surprises me is that the McCanns are supposed to be educated people, and a bit tight fisted to fork out for a babysitter.

This lawyer sounds like a bit of a fruitcake. He tried to do the same thing to Michael Barrymore as well. I doubt his case will get anywhere.
"Mr Bennett, who previously failed in an attempt to bring a private prosecution against entertainer Michael Barrymore over alleged drugs offences, added: "I just feel that, given the publicity surrounding this case, someone should stand up for neglected children.""

The DR is the in difficulty-free words paper which runs with headlines like "that is warfare" previously an previous agency recreation, they inflame the placement and upload to potential issues..they are the tabloid behind the notorious "Warchest" headlines attributed to Craig Whyte, who i might want to upload hasn't ever used this fact...The DR must be investigated for its contribution to inciting followers and help.

Social services visted the family and were happy to let the twins stay home, so surely they would be the ones to take a case to court for child neglect, dont get me wrong madeleine is missing because they were left alone i wouldnt disagree with that but surely for now the main concern is finding madeleine instead of being taken to court at this time.

Anthony Bennett is an eccentric and the former vice chairman of the National Front. He was sacked by the UKIP party and now is part of Kilroy Silks Veritas party.
He was sacked from UKIP for calling the Prophet Mohammad (peas be upon him) a paedophile.
Nice guy huh?

I think it is sad that a retired solicitor has had to do this. I bought there will be anyone throwing money at him like Richard Branson did with the McCanns. I wish Anthony Bennet the best of luck

I think that the best thing I can suggest is a hobby or perhaps evening classes. Some people find that meditation helps to fill the empty spaces in their lives that are otherwise occupied with 'tittle tattle'. In your particular case spelling and punctuation lessons may be of particular interest.
I'm sure that with help and support you will find a solution to your "Nothing better to talk about" problem.!!

it's a guy bringing a private prosecution at his own expense, to make a point. Nothing to do with the police or crown prosecution service. Shouldn't think anything will come of it.

Mr Bennett what a twit this guy seems so desprate to get in the public eye a member of a failed worthless political party now he's hitching himself to the mcann bandwagon just to get in the papers.
any way whats the point of charging the mccanns? they lost their daughter isnt that punishment in its self?
what will jailing the mccans and stealing two more kids do? nothing wont get maddie back. revenge wont do nothing
