If Tim Tebow doesn't win the Heisman Trophy this year, there really is an unwritten rule against a Sophmore winning the trophy. I suspected there was last year when McFadden didn't win it, but wasn't sure.
Heisman Committee...give it to Tebow!! If not, F all of you, and your rigged BS Trophy!

I'm not saying that Tebow isn't a good player, but I don't think he has it locked up. I think there are way too many talented RB's that will likely steal the show (Slaton, McFadden, Rice) Give the Heisman to Tebow next year when all these guys are gone.

He'll be tough to beat, and has to be considered the favorite. Maybe if one of the running backs like Rice or McFadden finish big they can overtake him, but I think the real threat to Tebow is Pat White at WVU. he still has 3 games left, 2 are at home and 2 are against ranked opponents, and none of these teams have great defenses. If he has blowout games, he could rise to the top. Remember that WVU has lost only one game, and that is a factor as well, especially for a QB.
So I am not saying that White will overtake Tebow, but he certainly has the opportunity to step up.

i don't think so. considering he is still an underclassman and I dont know when the last time an underclassman won and there's always the Georgia game that voters will think about. Even though he puts up insane stats, Florida still has 3 losses. At this point, I think its still wide open but I can see why Tebow is the most popular candidate

i think tebow is a good qb but i dont think he is the best qb in the nation much less the best player overall in the nation. if the award does not end up in arkansas it will be a shame. mcfadden should be this years heisman trophy winner. dont forget about a qb in hawaii. i know he doesnt play the bcs calibur schools but you just cant ignore the numbers.

Mike T, I think I heard Colt Brennan is battling concussions so that may be all for him this year. Maybe the Heisman needs to go to a defensive player this year.

This is coming from a Dawg fan. The kid completely deserves it. He has carried Florida all year long. Have you seen him run? Have you seen him runover linebackers and safeties? It's crazy. He can throw the ball too. To top all of the numbers off, he's a good kid. He's not a thug. Why not give the award to the good guy who's earned it?

Tebow has a good chance, but there is no real front runner. If he wins he would be the first underclassmen to win it ever.

I like either Tebow or McFadden, there is still more football to be played.
