very precise and very detailed....an amazing job carried out by a tiny number of CIA and Pentagon people, plus Cheney and Rummy and the Isreali's.
dan - Bush IS dumb, and he's so far out of the loop, he had nothing to do with 911, he just says what they tell him to say....Cheney's runnin' the show!

The attack was well-thought out and involved a lot of planning, except that it was all low-tech.
The hijackers came to the USA years before the attack and took flying lessons. They also trained physically so they would be able to overpower the crew.
They also coordinated their attacks so they occured at the same time. That took some studying of the schedules. They also figured out how to de-activate the transponders on the planes so it would be hard to track the planes & shoot them down.
Whether you consider all this "a lot" of planning is a matter of opinion. Most people have said the attacks were well-planned, funded, & coordinated. Given how successful they were, I would agree with them.
May this horrible day never happen again.

Heard it said that planning was so enormous that some countries intelligence organization may have been necessary. You need to get people training how to fly a plane. You need to know planes used and their security weaknesses. After this is all done you need to get twelve people in one location and get them tickets, and don't think they ever stayed together. As citizen imagine how difficult doing this would prove.

9/11 needed a master mind. it had to be very precisce because all the planes needed to come at almost the same time to create a big impact.The planing was done for more than one year.it also had details because osama had planned to rock USA and wanted to give them a bold statement.

why yes they did need lots of planning because it wasn't really osama binladin they are just saying that because they want everyone to hate Muslims.
it was sooooooooo bate that they planned it just look at the way the building collapsed and just before the plane went crashing into the building you could see a flash like a bomb that the plane shot out or something, the plane never even had people in it it was being mocontrolled by the government!
