Lou was definitely the comic genius of the 2 in my opinion. I have seen every movie they made and then some. As a kid, they ran their old TV series in my area.. Bud was no slouch either. Playing the slick, fast talking con man, Bud Abbot could deliver the straight (and often purposely confusing double speak lines) to Lou with all the polish of the Hope Diamond. He was the perfect straight man for Lou Costello.
Yes, "Who's on First" is one of, if not the best, comedy routine ever.
