My wooden coffee table legs slide all over the place on hardwood floors. Is there anything I can put under them to stop this?

You can put an area rug on the floor to keep the table from sliding OR you can go to walmart and buy some Manco brand shelf liner... It looks like little bubbles and feels like a soft rubber.... They also sell cheapie placemats made of the same material at the dollar store.. Cut some circles to fit and place under coffee table "feet".... Good luck

Lee S. said it. I have hardwood floors in several rooms including the kitchen. I buy the larger square felt pads and cut them to size. Every piece of furniture I have that sits on a wood floor has felt underneath. This keeps them from too easily sliding but allows you to move them around without damaging the floor. They have worked great even on our kitchen chairs.

We bought a package of that stuff you put under rugs so they don't slide around. It's kind of waffle-style (holes all through it, grid pattern kind of). I cut about a 6 inch square and put it under each leg, it doesn't slide around when we sit down now :)

Look in your bargian shops (the stuff with loads of cheap plastic fans/toy phones/laundry baskets).

There is a not slip mat for car dashboards. You put mobiles on it and stuff, it is not sticky but it is a non-slip mat.

It will set you back only a few pennies.

Cut 4 pieces of and place them under the legs.

Done :D

Cut a small piece of foam rubber and place underneath. You can buy foam in different thicknesses at any fabric store or Walmart.

The hardware store sells little felt cushions and grips you can put on the legs.
