Nah what's the point? You're clean when you come out of the shower anyway. I haven't washed mine in 4 years.

When it stands up by itself, it's time to wash it.
I'd get a clean towel at least once a week - provided you shower at least that often.

For cleanliness they suggest you wash your towels once a week. Once every two weeks max.
