Is it okay even if I'm ugly (anyway not really so ugly) but smart. I think that I'm ugly because even my crush told me in person that I'm ugly. My crush have a crush on a beautiful but dumb girl. I'm intelligent ( I'm the top 2 in class ) but my crush doesn't like me. I've already took an IQ exam and I got superior (near to very superior ) and my crush is handsome and a little smart ( his IQ is average). I'm just thinking why would he choose a beautiful but dumb girl instead of me. His crush is famous because most of the boys have a crush on her. There are only few boys who have a crush on me but for me they are only my friends (they are the boys who doesn't care about looks), (even my bestfriend that is a boy have a crush on me). Pls. help me because of what my crush told me I don't have confidence in school coz' it's true that pretty girls have confidence than ugly girls. My girl bestfriend is the only one who helps me with my problem. We are the same (unattractive but intelligent).

And I always get a remark that I'm not that good-looking...
But no one cares...
Because confidence is the key...
You don't have to be beautiful to have faith in yourself...
You possess intelligence worth remarking upon...
So let it overshadow the statements like "I'm not beautiful"...
Make them see that you are smart, and let them forget that you don't look good...
Again, be confident...
I got through that stage a long time ago...
And believe me, it was a good change...

I am not so physically pretty either but I am intellegent, warm, and talented. I do not care about trying to be beautiful because the internal beauty is more important than the physical part. What is the point of meeting a very beautiful person who is so horrible from the inside. I am not calling people ugly.

i dont think there's any pointing in helpin you... and i wont!
They say god helps those who help themselves.
In your case you yourself are thinking about your negatives (which is not a negative though) that too, just bcoz ur crush (I'll come to the crush part as well) said so.
Why dont you think of your positives and enjoy your life with the ppl who are a level higher than normal ppl (m talking about ur frnds, who dont care how beautiful someone is frm the outside but value whats inside). In this regard, life is too short to look at the darker aspects.... and good ppl are too few to lose.
Crush, what is this crush thing? I dont understand, u like him? Ok. thats it, but if he dont value you whats the meaning in callin him ur crush (and is having a crush so important? I dont think so..)

I admire that. My wife, was a model when I met her and very
intelligent. I'm no looker. But I too have a high I.Q. It has worked out well for us and I am 14 yrs. older.

just because someone told you you're ugly doesn't necessarily mean you're ugly. its the inside that counts. looks will go away when you get older but what is inside of you will never go away. besides this famous beautiful people never get ahead in life. they're stuck making themselves beautiful and not aiming for greater goals.
