"Life Ain't Always Beautiful" by Gary Allan.

I first heard this song two years ago when my daughter (now 10) was suffering from headaches. We were leaving the doctors office from having an MRI and something was showing up. It wound up being an "Arachnoid Cyst" (non-cancerous, thank God) in her brain and she needed surgery for shunt placement.

This was a song that I played over and over and over during that time. I fought back tears each time because I didn't want her to know how scared Mommie was.

She had surgery on the Friday before Thanksgiving (2005) and everything went well. As we left the hospital three days later, I played that song. I cried like I've never cried before. And to this day, I can't listen to it without crying. But it's one of those songs that you just can't NOT listen to.

....and since it's the two year anniversary of that ordeal, I've been listening to it quite a bit lately. Take care sweetie.

"Go Rest High On That Mountain" by Vince Gill. It's such a pretty song, but it's so sad; it talks about losing a loved one & saying that it's O.K. to rest in peace...their work on earth is done!!!

If you've ever lost anyone you love (be it parent, spouse or whomever), you won't be able to listen to this song without crying!!!

Stay by Sugarland
Let's just say I am in a similar situation and can relate very well. I think I cry harder than even she does in the video.
