Why is LOVE so complicated? Or is it just us as individuals that make it so? I'm talking about relationships here. Thanks. :)

Because it is worth it. When you are in love, it is the most honest you will ever be with another person, and with honesty and total openness, there will always be conflict. No two people will ever agree on the same things, dream the same dreams and value the same morals all in one go. It is what makes us unique and interesting and when it is worth it, you learn to put aside the little differences and you love your partner even more for their little quirks. However, if it is all just too hard and the hard times outweigh the good times, then perhaps you consider if you are in love with the person or in love with the idea of being in love? Being alone is way better any day than being in a relationship without love as it should be. When it is real, you can overcome anything, as it is meant to be. Just remember, you shouldn't have to try too hard at it.

Individuals make it complicated, everything can be going so smoothly and then because of one word or the he say she say stuff it can make things complicated. However the thing to do is to keep the lines of communication open and talk to each other don't bottle things insides

Because you want to be like one when actually are two people....

And those two people are raised in a different atmosphere and have a different approach of things... different model of family...if you find someone who you click right away great...but if not...then it becomes complicated and most of the time...you do really want to change but you just can't cos you are raised differently...it takes time to click...even when you do...still will be complicated...but there are other great things that make you want to share the life with someone that is not the way you want...but you want to spend the life with him....and complicate your life on purpose.

I wish i had the answer. I have been in love once and the pain and complications involved have put me off of relationships. It cant all be that bad though, my parents are living proof of that. They met in June 1981, married in November 1981 and are still as happy as the first day they met!

Love is an emotion that everyone has in the corner of their hearts. I think its all about taking risks. The survivors are the ones that have been married for 30-50 years together. That shows love as strong as it can get.Yet we are the... soon to be lucky ones because well it takes time to realise what we really want and decide who will we spend the rest of our lives with.

Hope I helped...

I think it's just us as individuals that make it so. you really have to take a look at the word and define it. It has to fit what you think and then the people in your life need to fit. it is like a puzzle all the peaces fit. you just have to find the right ones

Love is completely uncomplicated. It's the simplest thing in the world, and the most challenging.

A true lover will want to best for the beloved and always do what will promote their wellbeing.

Love is always honest, open, and liberating to the beloved. We complicate love by our selfishness, deceit and fear.
