I got an email saying the question would be reposted and then a further down my emails was another saying it was violated again. If Yahoo had already granted my appeal on that question how come it could be removed AGAIN??? I dont understand it.

First you need to check to see the status of your question NOW. Is it in your question list? Or has it been greyed out? (Greying out means deletion.)

I hope you kept BOTH emails? If the question IS deleted (again), then you need to attach a copy of the email granting you the right to have your question reposted, to the committee that took it away again. You can do that by clicking on the email so that it is displayed to read, then highlighting the URL (the address at the top of the page beside the back and forward arrows), and copy it using "Control" & "C" at the same time. Then bringing up a copy of the violation notice and linking to the appeal site, and pasting ("Control" & "V") into the body of THAT email.

Then get really passionate about the fact that you received your question back only to have it removed agan, and WHAT THE HECK are they thinking?....you know the drill.

It may have been due to what I like to call "guilt by association", where one or more users are blocked & they get another address or user to report another in an effort to knock them off the board or intimidate them if they don't agree with your personal or professional ethics. Like when a religious groups "shuns" one of it's members for breaking a commandment or going against a church elder! I don't understand it either, but it seems to be alive & well under the "new guidelines" that are pitting people against one another in a very concise manner! It's perplexing & challenging at the same time! Don't worry about it...that's what the reporters WANT you to do.

Jilly, if I've learned nothing else on Y/A, I've learned that the GITFO (gods in the front office) take a lot of coffee breaks, say "drat" and seem to be unresponsive to the good guys and sympathetic toward the un-good guys. Other than that, your guess is as good as mine!

In fact, when I called up your question, it first said it had been removed and when I hit it again it came up.

Some people think that just because they don't like the answer, that they report it..I've had appeals won also...We have freedom of speech and unless it breaks the rules, it stays...Yahoo will then not take their reports so seriously next time...Congratulations....

That has got to be a first. I dont believe there are real people reading them anyway. And who ever reported it the first time just reported it again.

WOW That's a first, you won the appeal well done. But as to it being re reported that's weird.
