Yes and it is a very rewarding experience. Makes you realize how fortunate you are to live in a free country where people are innocent until proven guilty. Unfortunately their are abuses in the legal system and innocent people sometimes get convicted of crimes they didn't commit. do your part to prevent this from happening--serve and be proud to live in a free society.

No but I have testified many times on behalf of a client and sat in on court room cases time and time again, for 16 years.
Very, very interesting.
Better than watching a movie.

Yes, when I was 18. Didn't like it much. We got attacked in the foyer of the courts by relatives of someone who was sent to prison. Fortunately security guards and police came out of nowhere and arrested them but it was still very frightening.
Wouldn't want to do it again!
