This guy was apparently, from The Gloucester Flickers website:

Doesn't say how though, I'm guessing his opponent 'over-flicked' (technical term) and it went down his throat and impeded his breathing.

LOL! Probably. If the tiddlywink gains enough momentum I guess it could cut someone's main arteries xD If it was really sharp.

A lot of old people play it so they might have excitement seizures or wet themselves and cause drowning.

I guess you could choke on them too, if they were flavoured. ^^

Not in an accident, but a competitor in the World Championships in Canada last year got beaten to death for tiddling when he should have winked. Quite right too.
