no. one should ask why they don't like politics, and if it's simply because politics can be boring or very dense, then one must realize it is that much more important to pay attention. it's like in a difficult class - you may find it boring or difficult, but that's all the more reason to pay extra attention; otherwise you'll get lost. i think it's absolutely vital that people take notice of the things going on around them in their own government and around the globe.
