ha - where do i start !?!
i hate how the build up to it starts as soon as halloween is over - sometimes sooner.
all the adverts on TV are aimed at kids, and are purely there because the manufacturers are relying on 'pester power'.
i have to put up with relatives i don't like on christmas day. i drive over 80 miles just to sit with people that i have nothing in common with, other than they are some kind of relative. i don't mind spending time with my parents, sister, and her kids, it's the half cousins and great aunties that get on my nerves. i grin and bear it though as i know it means a lot to my mother.
i don't like going anywhere near the shops during december. people are so rude and pushy, and the shops are always packed with people who really don't want to be there.
i know all the above things make me sound like a right miserable sod, but christmas really has turned into a totally commercialised pain in the @rse.

The stress of figuring out what to buy everybody. Also, I used to live in the midwest and now I live in the desert where there is no snow on Christmas.

The adverts on tv, being skint, having to be nice to relatives I hate. Not being able to park the car to do ordinary shopping because other shoppers are panic buying and clogging up the parking spaces.Bah, humbug!

The way it's advertised as early as July! It makes people get sick of it before it's even started and totally takes away the excitement of the actual day. Make it stop! xD

it's really depressing at work cuz so many of the residents don't go anywhere or even have visitors on Christmas! it must really break their hearts to see others go out with their families.

Everywhere is so busy, advertising months before it gets here. Huge build up too it and overspending then it's all over in a day.
