As far as collectible value goes:
In average circulated condition, about 10% over face value. If in uncirculated (perfect as-new) condition, about double face value. If the serial number ends in a star instead of a letter, add 50%.

For one of the previous responders: There is no Series 2007 $20, nor will there be - Series 2006 is presently being printed. A Series 2007 $20 would be a fake worth nothing. Questions regarding collectibles are best left to people who know something about collectibles.

old money value

The reason it says, pay to the bearer on demand...is because it was designed to be valued at $20 worth of Silver. If you surrendered that bill to the government in 1950, they would have paid you $20 worth of silver for it. Today, if it's in good condition and you put t up for sale on E*Bay, you may get between $20 and $30 for it.

Scan it, and I can appraise it. With no picture, I can not determine condition.
