As a afterthought what are the so called International welfare services doing about it(Red Cross ect) other Governments there is no place for such horror in a country that is not even involved in a war,or in a so called civilised world,I despair somtimes.

I agree with what you say Faith but these kids are suffering being starved to death rather than the state being accused of murder.then they can say they died from natural causes all be it man made causes.

Yes I saw that.
Do you know most of those poor people in those place are not born mentally ill. It is because they have grown up in orphanages tied to cots and beds, with no freedom. The problem is , not enough professionals to look after them.
I do think that the Government in Serbia, and other Eastern European countries are responsible and they should be taking emergency steps to eradicate these hell holes. It is vile.
Also, it should be made easier by the UK Government for childless people to adopt from places like Serbia, Bulgaria, Romania, Albania, Russia. Instead people want to charge thousands of pounds, in travel, expenses, and fee's to save other human beings and to give them a better life. The costs involved eliminate regular working class couples or singles from adopting.
If it was a simple process, for normal law abiding, hard working people - like me, I would adopt at least 2 children, maybe more if I could realistically afford to support them.
Appalling :( as it is so easily preventable.

My friend worked in a jewish old peoples home, and if I was early, I just to speak to some of the guests there. They used to tell me about Bergen Belsen- one lady said when she was a girl, every dinner time the family would sit round the table with a gun. Her father said "If anyone is going to kill my family, it will be me." Every night.
My son is the same age now as she was then and it doesn't bear thinking about. I've always imagined what it would be like, but I never ever thought I'd see such depravity in a country that is a few hours away.
What you could ask is if it happened in the U.K., would we get put on trial? If so, why are they any different?

It is not really surprising that the images appear to be the same as WW2, but the reality is very different. Belsen is a good example of this. Contrary to popular belief (which was very cleverly exploited by Zionist propaganda) it was not an extermination camp. At the time Germany was losing a war on two fronts and having to deal with a typhus epedemic. (Think of the enormity of this) Many of the skeletal images recorded at the time were as a result of illness and neglect imposed by warfare. Serbia does not have any excuse for this neglect.
DO YOU REALISE THAT FREEDOM OF SPEECH IS SO LIMITED IN FRANCE AND GERMANY, THAT IF I WROTE THIS THERE I COULD BE IMPRISONED !!!

there grew to become right into a movie referred to as "return To Auschwitz" that grew to become into made in 1979. stable movie. this is a few woman who returns to Auschwitz together with her son recounting her journey. Anne Frank :-) - this will not be on your style yet supplies an rather stable image as to what grew to become into going on and what existence grew to become into like during the conflict. The Piano guy ( an rather stable movie, this is approximately this guy who hides under rubble to avert getting caught my Nazi soilders. . this is marvelous ! and fully lifelike approximately what befell in those days. Auschwitz: The Nazis and the 'very final answer': The history of the best answer component of the Nazi Holocaust, quite with the main sought after of the dying camps. Schindlers checklist: between the main suitable international conflict 2 action pictures I even have ever considered. this is approximately those jews who get despatched to artwork in Schindlers production unit and Schindler doesnt recognize what the Jews are dealing with so he pays the concentration camp for as many Jews as achieveable ............. Boy interior the striped pyjamas: Reaallly unhappy some Jewish boy in Auschwitz and a German boy who's the son of a German commander, and who's staying in a house close to there. They exchange into maximum suitable friends and communicate thorugh the wall.

I feel your sadness. The Red Cross, I think is a non political organisation, they have to be in order to be allowed in such diverse countries, if they spoke out for one then there would be repercussions and they would be refused entry, result? The people who are suffering would pay, Geneva convention etc, etc. Good question. Fellow Humanitarian.

Is it really true...?
The image of that little baby haunts me...
I'm hoping that the media is twisting facts to sensationalise something it knows that will touch the hearts of millions.
Being a regular visitor to our local orphanage i do know of severely disturbed little children who harm themselves if not prevented. However, the orphanage (Mother Teresa's) i visit does not tie them up or restrict them in any way but has dedicated young girls who volunteer to supervise them constantly thus preventing any harm done. Its a very very tough job but rewarding in its own special way.
Finding such people is hard & a good Q would be how to prevent mentally disturbed people from harming themselves ... without harming them ourselves...?

Auschwitz 1 or 2, there were 2 different camps.
It is sad whats on the media, but for every "gut wrenching" stories you see, there are 1,000's that never makes it.

YOUR HEART IS BROKEN????And tell me,was your heart broken when you bombed my country in 1999?Was it?When you killed more than 3000 serbian civilians because our army was too well entrenched to be fought. Not to mention that the news purposly showed only the worst scenes they could find because it is obviously pure anti serbian propaganda. Those patients aren't in such a bad condition and even if they are it is YOURS (U.S.A.) fault! We didn't impose sanctions on ourselves, didn't we?How dare you even talk about this in such an arrogant way???Shame on you!
Haha, well you British also bombed us...Looks like you don't even know where u send your bombs. You did same things to us like Americans, you aren't any better. And don't play some "nuns" here, your anti serbian policy led to these poor conditions in these hospitals.I am afraid there is no reason for apologies from my side...

That is what I said yesterday, those poor children looked like they are concentration camp victims. It is disgusting, especially in this day and age. I can't believe more isn't being done about it. My heart breaks for those children.
